Hello! This will be my second year teaching 1st grade at Carmel, and I am so excited to be your child's teacher! I grew up in Clarksville and attended Carmel for fourth and fifth grade, where I was one of the first students in the building when it opened. Outside of school, one of my favorite things to do is spend time with family and friends. I am the oldest of four children and have three younger brothers. I graduated from the University of Evansville, where I played softball and earned my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with minors in Reading and Teaching English as a Second Language. My goal is to create a learning environment where every student feels valued and supported while fostering a love of learning. I believe that every student learns in their own way, and that's what makes each one special! I am looking forward to a GREAT year with you all!
