Hello,
I am excited to be teaching art at Carmel! I have been teaching art for over twenty years. I earned my B.F.A. in Studio Arts and my M.A. in Education (Instructional Technology and Curriculum) at Austin Peay State University. I have also worked in the area of Graphic Design. I believe art to be an important part of a child's development and will do my best to motivate each child to fulfill their individual talents. I feel all students can achieve skills associated with the visual arts whether it be as a creator, patron or a learned appreciation for the process. My hope is to instill an interest in the visual arts that continues a lifetime!
