Welcome to Carmel Elementary School! A Clarksville native, I grew up in CMCSS schools. I am a graduate of The University of Tennessee, where I earned my bachelor's degree in 2003. I received my Masters of Arts in Education from Belmont University in 2006. Teaching is my passion and I have been teaching kindergarten in CMCSS since 2006. Kindergarten is such an exciting grade to teach. It will also be an exciting time in the life of your child. I am very happy and honored to partner with you on this journey!

Kindergarten Supply List:

  • 1 dozen #2 pencils
  • 1 pair of blunt scissors (please label)
  • 6 glue sticks (or more)
  • 1 4oz. bottle liquid glue
  • 4 boxes 24 count crayons
  • 1 plastic school box
  • 1 large box of tissues
  • 1 bottle hand sanitizer
  • 1 container cleaning wipes
  • 1 package of 4 black dry erase markers (fine point if available) 
  • 1 pair of headphones (not earbuds)
  • Change of clothes to be kept in backpack
