Hello and welcome to Carmel Elementary! My name is Jaya Meyer and I am a licensed school counselor certified to work with students in grades K-12. I received both my Bachelor of Arts in English and my Master of Science in School Counseling from Austin Peay State University. As a school counselor, I use data to implement a developmental school counseling program, which includes individual and small group counseling, social-emotional learning in the classroom, and collaborating with all stakeholders to advocate for student needs. I am also the 504 coordinator for all grades. I look forward to creating a positive and safe environment to help ensure the academic and personal growth of all students! As a Clarksville native and graduate of CMCSS myself, I am ecstatic to be part of the Carmel family.
